Personality
Strengths:
1.) Dancing – She’s taken dance lessons in all types that you can probably learn at this point, and is captain of the dance squad at Regan High School, even though she’s only a junior. The title is usually reserved for a senior, but she was the best on the team, and the only senior hadn’t been on the team as long as she had.
2.) Languages – She has a natural flair for languages, and she already knows five (Greek, Polish, Russian, German, and Dutch). She actually wants to be a linguist when she graduates from college, either teaching languages or studying them and trying to figure out how they are formed. Lately, she has also started to show a knowledge of French, although the French is a bit…archaic in nature.
3.) Piano - In the past year, she has developed a talent toward the piano, although, before, she wasn’t any more musically inclined than any other regular person. Strange.
Weaknesses:
1.) Coward – She isn’t the most brave person in the world, and, in the sight of danger, is more likely to hide or flee rather than fight.
2.) Nightmares – In the past year, she’s been having awful nightmares. Nightmares of being tortured, of killing people and enjoying it, and finally being burned alive. Most of the dreams focus around a couple of people, and she fears them all. If she saw any of these people (Lena Jacobs, Luke Jacobs, Ash Kowalski), she might turn into a shrieking mess.
3.) Personality Lapses – Lately, she’s been displaying dramatic shifts in personality. She’ll switch from the kinda goofy, kinda girly teenage girl into something…much darker and more experienced than she is. It’s completely unpredictable, although stressful situations are more likely to bring it on.
General Personality: On a normal day, Teresa is a nice, normal girl. She likes to listen to music, go out to clubs with her friends, dance at games on the dance squad, read up on languages, and generally enjoy her way through high school while still passing. However, with the death of Michele D’Estang, she has occasionally started to show wild shifts in personality. When she does, she seems to show more of a dark humor, and will act much more…for lack of a better term, sexual than before. When like this, when something upsets her, she may completely fly off the handle and attack someone. Normally, she’s all but anti-violence in nature.

History: Teresa had a regular if uneventful childhood. Her parents love each other and stayed together for all of her life. Frankly, her life until somewhat recently was so regular that it was boring. Her mother works as a teacher at George Washing Middle School (the middle school she attended, as well), and her father works as a lawyer for the D.A. office. She has one older brother, and they have a typical brother/sister relationship, which means that they tease the shit out of one another, but also love each other and want to protect each other.
It’s during the past year Teresa’s life has gotten interesting. Teresa is actually the reincarnation of Michele Odette D’Estang. Michele was a slayer in the mid-seventeen hundreds France when she was captured, tortured, and eventually turned into a vampire by Luke Jacobs, and then was tossed out by his then lover Lena Jacobs on threat of death if she ever saw Michele again. Michele’s existence was finally ended when she dared kill the lover of Ash Kowalski, Lucy Van Warren. When Michele was turned into a vampire, her soul left her body. It eventually passed to Teresa. However, this meant little until after Michele died.
Teresa started to have nightmares about what was done to Michele, and what Michele did. On first glance, Teresa’s dreams might lead someone to believe that she might be having ‘slayer’ dreams, although they only revolve around one particular slayer. With the passing of Michele the vampire, though, it seems that the more demonic part has passed to Teresa along with the soul (and looks, as she is a dead ringer for Michele). Lately it has gotten worse, as Teresa has started to show shifts in personality that, to the knowing observer, would show distinct flavoring of the old Michele.
Her parents have made her start to see a shrink, but the shrink seems to think that Teresa has an over active imagination. While Teresa has been able to hide much of this from her friends, it has started to get harder to do. |
